Art journal I made at ArtBeach 2013, in Folly Beach, SC last week. Painted the cover these past two days. Really happy with how it turned out.
Love how the paint colors came out on this stamp. Didn’t even plan it.
Glitter card from the fam. Don’t they know me!
So I tore it up into strips, used a scanned page from a magazine and created something. You tell me what it is
Last year, one of my walls was green. I stuck inspiring images and such on that wall. It was a nice wall. A gallery of sorts.
This year’s wall of inspiration is not as colorful, but still full of inspiring encouragement and moments.
(Notice that I haven’t bothered to change my “organizational” calendar to this year? Yeah… up with the times.)
Spent the evening melting crayons. It’s exhilarating and a beautiful process to watch. Everyone should try melting crayons at some point in life.
(As a side note, the activity was just a part of my advertising campaigns project. Can’t say much else right now. )
Ugh I apologize for poor photo quality. Sad face. Enjoy the overall concept!
What is a cabochon? According to the Internet, it is a “gem that is polished but not faceted.” So it has a flat back. TO ME, cabochons are awesome little objects that I can glue anywhere I please and give away (but mostly keep) when I want. They are adorable.
